THE WATER CYCLE

Introduction

This activity aims to learn about young people’s initial representations of water. It will give the educator a representation of the learners’
knowledge on the topic, and allow them to adapt the content of their intervention.

Objectives

• Raise awareness among young people about the importance of water
  conservation

Learning outcomes

By the end of this learning scenario, students will be able to:

• Discovery of the Corsica region, a mountain in the sea
• The water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation…
• Terminology: watershed, valley, river, wetland and delta.
• The river ecosystem: fauna and avifauna
• Wetland biodiversity
• Protection of resources: without water there is no life…
