Climate experts
Introduction
This activity makes it possible to address the climate issue as a major ecological and societal issue by mobilizing the collective intelligence of
students.
Objectives
- Provide secondary school students with an understanding of the mechanisms of climate change by studying its causes and its multiple consequences on ecosystems and human societies.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this learning scenario, students will be able to:
- Know the human activities that emit the most GHG (greenhouse
gases) and their consequences on the climate. - Identify levers for mitigating GHG emissions into the atmosphere in
daily activities (transport, food, consumption, etc.) - Propose concrete actions and recommendations for adaptations to the consequences of climate change in the territory (droughts,
heatwaves, forest fires, etc.)
