By the end of this learning scenario, students will be able to:

• Understand the major role that bees play in the world,
• Develop the notion of pollination, its essential role for the environment and life on earth,
• Take ownership and develop a problem on a regional scale, understand its impacts on a national and global scale
• Projecting into the future (imagining tomorrow, managing uncertainties and questions), both individually and collectively
• Take action to combat the extinction of pollinators.
